1. What earrings can you wear in the shower?
Earrings made from stainless or titanium steel because it is waterproof and non-tarnish. 925 sterling is also non-tarnish, but after a few years it can start to tarnish if you shower with it and don't clean it regularly.
- Will sterling silver earrings irritate my ears?
No. Silver earrings made of 925 sterling silver have a higher percentage of pure silver which is safer for people with sensitive skin. The other percentage can contain nickel or copper. But all our jewellery is nickel-free.
4. Can I shower with silver earrings?
It will not harm the metal but over the years the earrings can start to tarnish. We recommend you to take them off.
2. Which gold is best for earrings?
Pure gold is very soft so normally gold is mixed with other metals to increase strength and durability. 14K and 18K gold are the best and most common for jewellery.
3. Can I shower with your hoop earrings?
Most of our gold hoop earrings are made from titanium steel, which is resistant to water. On each product's page there is a details section, find here if it is waterproof and non-tarnish.
- What is the best silver for a necklace?
Sterling silver necklaces are manufactured with the highest quality silver. The most common is 925 sterling silver, 92.5 percent is pure silver and the rest is a metal alloy.
2. How can you tell is a silver chain is real?
Your necklace should contain a mark with “925” that indicates that the pendant necklace contains 92.5% of pure silver.
About two years. However, this will depend on how you maintain your jewellery, for example keeping it in a jewellery box and cleaning it frequently will make it last longer
2. Is gold plated real gold?
No. Gold plated jewellery is not made of gold. Normally the base metal is sterling silver or steel and then a layer of gold is deposited over the base metal.
3. Are gold plated necklaces good?
Yes. Gold plated jewellery is an amazing alternative for real gold because it is more affordable, has a beautiful gold color and can still last for years.
4. What is the difference between 14k and 18k?
14K gold plating contains 58.3% of gold and 18k contains 75%.
5. Can you shower with gold plated necklaces?
It will not harm the base metal but it damage the layer of gold and reduce the shine.
6. Is gold plating real gold?
Yes. It contains a percentage of pure gold.
